What is Anxiety?

Anxiety is when you feel surrounded by fear; you cannot escape it, you feel trapped, and you are desperate to break free of this feeling.

Am I the only person feeling this way?

We all have anxiety. The only difference is that people react to it differently. Some can control it and others cannot. You are not alone if you cannot. Many people suffer from this and they too have trouble controlling it.

How can I manage this?

If you start to feel anxious, you can relieve it in many ways. One way, in particular, is to take deep breaths and try the anxiety calming exercises in this app! Other ways involve talking to a friend, family member, or a trusted person and express how and why you are feeling like this. If talking does not help, writing in a journal can improve your ability to control your emotions and can reduce, prevent, and make your anxiousness disappear.
